The T-man

So the T-man visited from Hon. He came cause he has a nephew and I told him he should come up to hang out. I fear I didn't show him the best time possible since my social life has been slowing down of late and there wasn't much he wanted to do specifically except eat. Eat we did, although I picked a subpar chinese place (House of Nanking) that didn't deliver what I would say is "the best". Oh well he said it was OK.

So T-man has also got an easy life. Its simple, no worries, just slowly moving along. He is happy the way most hawaii folk are happy, just happy doing the same old stuff it seems. He doesn't seem to long for more in life the way I do. Of course, he didn't have a significant loss in his life make him think about things the way I have.

In the process of the T-man visited I saw the J-man, the ex UH prof who is now a gayster out here in gayville USA. The J-man is another case of a guy who is searching for some meaning in life. Even though he has $2mm of Smoogle stock, he isn't quite happy. He is also doing menial work in testing which is far beneath a PhD like him.. alas, he lives just between miserable and OK. As many of us do. I strive to get beyond OK!!! God dammit!!!

We also got together with L-man and I-man (the Bum bruddas) in the process. Those two are also doing about the same as before with very minor changes in life. They are also around OK-level. I fear the only one who is living beyond-OK is Tombo! What the hell man. He's struggling with life but at the same time he seems happy.

I met a 23yo redhead today. Let me tell you, those redheads really peak early. I think they peak at like 18 and at 23 they are already looking like they are 30. At 35 they look like they are 45. Its quite sad, because at their peak they are quite hot. But to peak at 18... so sad. But I am just talking about exteriors. I shouldn't focus on it, I am so shallow. Hehe.
