The Art of the Pickup
I must say, my old friend Boo has opened my eyes to the singles scene. For that, I owe him big. Between him, Tombo, Booby, MCG, and all the others.. I'm recovered quite well so far.
I've come to realize that the mental state is key to picking up girls. You have to put yourself in the mindset that most girls are not getting asked out that often, so if you can do it, then you will probably score (figuratively) because of simple probabilities.
Take his roomie for example, whom I will refer to as "the rack". The rack said last week that she has gone on 1 date this whole year. The rack isn't bad looking. She's not hot, but is okay, and has a nice rack (hence the moniker). So is it that she is really picky? No no no.. I suspect she hasn't been asked out much, so when some fool finally does, of course she is thinking.. what the heck, I haven't been on a date in 9 months, I might as well go for it.
Thats part 1 of the secret. The other thing I realize is to not try to be friends first, just ask them out and make your intentions clear. Like this really cute girl at work in HR, my typical modus-operandi (sp?) would be to be friends, hang out, and see if something happens slowly and sneakily (hey its worked for me in the past afterall).. but why not just ask them out on a date and be clear of your intention? (Its because we are wimps thats why!!).
Life is short, no time to waste goofing around.
Lots of other things in your favor.. like the fact that girls like guts so the act of asking them out automatically gives you points.
I visited the Hapa gals place tonight kind of late. Being invited to a girls house after 9pm is a green light. Unfortunately, she's a nice gal. I like her, but not sure where this will go, but its nice to have options!
